December 6, 2020: Summary of Learning

That’s a wrap!

Check out my Summary of Learning! There was a 5-7 minute time limit, but I definitely went a little over… There were just too many great artefacts and highlights from this semester to leave out!

  1. Leigh you did a wonderful job truly highlighting the history of learning and summarizing the learning theories. I also loved the stock images you chose. I find it so funny how we both used Wevideo but I didn’t find half the images you did. Actually all of your visuals were really well done. I especially like the UDL visual. We, as quoted Papert so nicely, found some great learners, and learned together!

    1. Thanks Meira! I noticed that with a lot of the WeVideo presentations… I don’t think any stock images were re-used, which speaks to how many the program offers!

  2. We used the same music for our WeVideos…. will definitely need to go a while before hearing that tune again! I hope you enjoyed WeVideo; it took me a little bit to get comfortable with it, but once I figured out how to maneuver, it was smooth sailing! Great thorough summary of learning from EC&I833. It was a great class – hopefully we have other classes together soon!!

    1. That was the first thing I noticed about your video! It’s a good tune!

I found that as well– once I got going, I really enjoyed it! Having stock images to choose from made for a professional “look” that was easy to achieve. Yes, I hope so too! Always a pleasure getting to work with you!

  3. Great video Leigh!! I thought you did a wonderful job summing up our course! WeVido is such a smooth program to use and you did so well with it. The stock images add a lot! I love that you were able to add so many personal examples into your summary as well. Your video really highlights just how much we learned this semester and you do a good job of including experts and quotes throughout as well. It’s been great working with you over the semester! Good luck in the future! 🙂

  4. Appreciate your thoughtful and well put together summary. You really did a nice job with integrating the learning theories into your presentation. It looks like this class has had a direct impact on your own classroom which is so cool. I enjoyed taking classes with you and always learned a lot from the great questions you asked after class was over (I got some of the best insight from hanging around so thanks). Good luck with the rest of your journey and I’m glad you are now part of my PLC. Take care.
